Résumé

The poster presents an ongoing project on object manipulability and its assessment. Body-Object Interaction and Graspability ratings have been collected for 1019 concrete French words. Ongoing work aims to collect reaction time and accuracy data for a living/non-living semantic decision task (SDT). An additional exploratory study is in preparation to assess the reliability of the same data when the task is done online. As various instructions have been used to assess the functional manipulability of objects, the goal of the project's last part is to compare the most common among them using regression analyses on our SDT data. Finally, ratings for the best performing variable, as well as for 'Pantomime' (original instructions; Magnié et al., 2003) and for the 'Number of Actions' will be collected.
